Recorded in 2005/2006 this album is the first album of sacred songs in a jazz-pop-soul setting of Matthew Monticchio. These songs were written and utilized in the worship services at Wheatland Church, Lancaster, PA where you can still hear these songs from time to time these days!

From the original album liner notes:

At the turn of the century, in various circles of the church, there began a musical movement of setting beautiful, ancient hymn texts to new music. Unaware at first of these efforts of others, Matthew Monticchio began his own music pursuits with this same goal; the idea was to create new music for worship services - for both congregation and solo use - that was musically fresh, theologically rooted, and lyrically beautiful. Hopefully you will discover selections from these new sacred songs and hymns that will be embraced by your community and sung to the glory of our Creator.
